The shallow well helps hold jsut enough to work without dipping the brush all the way and ruining it, while not wasting ink (cuz I’m a cheap bastard) then I cut a small notch on top to hold the brush. I use it for a month maybe and then start a new one. Getting back to ink by brush again and getting away from pens it’s been working out. #makecomics #techniques #inking #brush
