So this week, the theme for my sketchcards was D&D and on top of that character I made, or was. Hence:
Mostly characters I’ve played but will take requests later! GAF it was fun to mess with with races and class, and delved into old character I played: meet Gaf a fighter Dwarf I made back in middle school! I only got him to 8th level and he was basic as fuh but for him wielding a Great Sword. Very un-dwarfy of him but he was supposed to be a punk rock like dwarf that dug magic and was raised an orphan amongst humans. He ended up being a bad ass sword fighter with some weird move and in the end a glowing +1 Greatsword called lightburner (I think) and crackled blue electricity. My biggest kills with this guy was a hill giant alongside the groups sorcerer. Ah D&D…. miss it so.
Rolling along the D&D theme again this time with a very recent character and I think my last: RIDLEE HALFLING rogue! Now I think I’ve been a HALFLING rogue a BUNCH OF TIMES already… I love it. FYI HALFLING are pretty much Hobbits but with like BALLS to do things. They have 2nd Breakfast but can also steal your shit and cut your throat. Hence Captain Ridlee who was only a captain in name, of a super intelligent airship, that he inherited from his uncle. He wasn’t the best captain…. And he had a dagger that allowed him to teleport wherever he threw it. Hence that attack from above. I think by the time the campaign fizzled out ( it was just hard for the group to get together) he about 8th level? All I knew if I could kick some ass… but I also technically died a bunch of times in glorious ways! That’s what DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS IS ALL ABOUT! WHOO!
It’s all D&D this week as I make portraits of past character I’ve played : RUCKUS – halforc barbarian fighter was one of the dinner characters I ever played because of the antics he got in: surrounded by guards he pulled a fast one and told them to look behind them, rolled two 20s, gave him a whole 2 rounds to run away, to only jump out a window where he thought it would be only a 30 foot drop. It wasn’t. Since the castle was perched ON A CLIFF. 160 ft and 16d6 points of damage later he survived a ridiculous fall only to wash up on a shore, down river, naked. He woke from the TPK the only survivor. And that’s just one time! He’s also probably the highest level I played at 15th level. After that to me D&D get a little ridiculous but that just me!

This is my first fifth edition character and actually probably one of the first times I ever use the magic user. Only because I found them overly complicated and most the time at first level you are a glass cannon just ready to be hit and I need time and do that one move and that’s it. But luckily fifth edition kind of updated what you canning can’t do with the wizard and I was able to access more things and be more palpable as a character so I kind of fell in love with it. HELKER was a tiefling Wizard and made with a shrouded background but acted as the old man of the group. That wasn’t my intention but I seemed to be the only experienced player in the group at the time. He was great fun and the best was jumping off a cliff using feather fall and then shooting fireball on some suspected bandits like some arcane Apache helicopter!
(Arg late for once! Swore I uploaded it earlier today) Final of the Dingeons and Dragons character and decided to bring out not a player character but an NPC character of some… renown! FIDGIT was an NPC my group saved… found… freed… and the. Became the group unofficial mascot and housekeeper. He cleaned armor, sharpened blades and overall took care of the group. There were some … abuses of this but in the end he was a good guy. Especially when he gave his life to the group at the hands of an archwizard in a Valiant stand to save the group. And we’ll blame a Bell Grande. (Sorry that is a personal revenge against a player… had to)
Every weekday, I do a sketchcard and you can find them all here! I should be entering a new week by the time you read this, and this time it’s TEEN TITANS! Check it out.
Also, INKTOBER starts tomorrow! I will be getting in on that starting Tuesday!
